33-zone accuracy

Thirty-three zones identify the alarm area across the entire height and width of the portal, showing the left, center or right position of objects. Secondary inspection goes straight to the right spot.

Bilateral detection

Transmitters and receivers in each panel make the PD 6500i work as two detectors in one. Scanning both sides improves detection and reduces the need for handheld metal detectors.

Superior versatility

Selectable settings designed for airports, courthouses, schools, prisons, public transportation, special events and loss prevention.

Random alarm

Randomly triggers alarms on a selected percentage of people who would not normally alarm, adjustable from 0 to 50%. An effective deterrent for secondary screening programs.

More coils, more consistent detection

With more than four times the number of detection coils of similar models, the PD 6500i delivers consistent detection and precise localization. Its 11 horizontal tracks are independently adjustable to meet specific detection needs.

Built for high-traffic checkpoints

More than 20 standard programs adapt the portal to each venue. Multiple units can be installed as close as 5 cm apart, and optional Quick-Q settings let cell phones pass while still detecting weapons, keeping lines moving.

Ready to deploy, ready for the elements

Optional casters and a battery module allow quick deployment at special events, stadiums and schools. IP55 construction according to IEC 529 protects against dust and moisture, with operation from -20 °C to 60 °C and a fully automatic 100 to 240 VAC, 40 W power supply.
