Drive-through X-ray inspection of cars and light vehicles, with 60 mm of steel penetration.

Built for border control

Effective inspection of small and mid-sized vehicles on highways, at border crossings and in high-security locations. Ports and airports gain a vehicle checkpoint with the speed their traffic demands.

180 vehicles per hour

Vehicles drive through the system at about 8 km/h (5 mph), with no need to stop or unload. A vehicle counter and continuous scanning keep the lane flowing.

320 kV generator

An oil-cooled X-ray tube at 320 kV reaches 60 mm of steel penetration (according to ANSI 43.17-2009), revealing what is concealed inside the structure of the vehicle.

OCR technology

Optional optical character recognition reads license plates automatically, linking every image to the vehicle inspected for faster records and audits.

Sized for cars, vans and light trucks

The drive-through passage accepts vehicles up to 2.7 m wide and 2.7 m high, with unlimited length. The system needs only 10 kVA of three-phase 220 VAC power and operates from -20 °C to +50 °C, with humidity from 5% to 95% (non-condensing).

Sharp images, fast decisions

Automatic colorization of organic, inorganic and mixed materials, zoom higher than 128x, edge highlight, sharpness, a high-penetration function and a high-density alert help operators read each vehicle. An automatic detection algorithm flags drugs, explosives and high-density materials, with suspicious image tagging and reports.

Safe for drivers at inspection speed

The maximum dose absorbed by the driver is at or below 0.13 µSv per inspection at 8 km/h. A video monitoring system with digital video recorder and a radio communication system keep the lane supervised throughout the operation.

Storage for more than 40,000 images (expandable), network connection and export in JPG, TIFF, BMP and VMI formats.
